Choosing osteopathy
During his work, it soon became clear to Jop that many complaints are related to other less noticeable complaints or abnormalities. For this reason, he began a six-year osteopathy course at the Sutherland College in Amsterdam in 2002. Since then, he has approached complaints from this broad perspective.
Willemsparkweg Medical Centre (MCW)
Jop Mur has been working as an osteopath at the Willemsparkweg Medical Centre since 2008, within his practice Osteopaat Amsterdam. In order to support the team as effectively as possible, he has studied physiotherapy, manual therapy and osteopathy for the foot. Jop Mur works with various disciplines at the MCW, including four podiatrists and an orthomanual physician. In his practice, he sees a wide range of complaints, from abdominal complaints to headaches, but also coccyx complaints and lower back pain.

Review
“I had a nagging pain in my back for a while. Sessions with my physiotherapist had little effect and it kept coming back. This osteopath/Jop has a very relaxed approach and I felt very at ease. But more importantly, I no longer have any complaints and can carry heavy loads again!”
